Students of Dubai Autism Center Wins Al Hasawi Award for reciters of the Holy Quran
Dubai Autism Center participation is inspired by a strong belief that children with Autism should participate in different social activities and the importance of spreading awareness amongst various communities about this disorder. It is also an opportunity to highlight the children's’ capabilities such as memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran. The center has recently opened an Islamic studies section within the education department to teach students reading and memorizing the Holy Quran, ablution, praying and Islamic ethics.
Mr. Mohammad Al Emadi, board member and Director General of Dubai Autism Center emphasized the importance of participating in such events and expressed his gratitude towards the organizers of Al Hasawi Award and the Quran establishment for providing children in the special needs sector the opportunity to take part in the competition.
Dubai Autism center is a non profit organization founded on 18th November 2001 with the issuance of a decree from H.H. Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum to provide specialized services to children with Autism, their families and care givers. The center is chaired by HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai
