Major General Rashid Thani Al Matroshi, Director of Dubai Civil Defense visited the new building of Dubai Autism Center (DAC) in Al Garhoud and met students and programs heads.
He also toured the various sections of the center and was acquainted with the treatment services, educational programs and facilities that have been prepared in an integrated way to suit the needs of children with autism according to the latest international standards.
Major General Al Matroshi expressed his admiration for what the Center’s pioneering role in the region, and praised the Center’s keenness to support the issues of children with autism.
Mohammed Al Emadi, Director General and Board Member of DAC expressed his thanks and appreciation to Major General Al Matroshi and the accompanying delegation for this visit, pointing out that this visit reflects the keenness of the Dubai Civil Defense to keep abreast of the directions of our leadership in caring for the people of determination and providing all means of care for them.
It is noteworthy that the Dubai Autism Center was established by a decree of the ruler of Dubai in 2001 as a non-profit organization that aims to provide specialized services to take care for children with autism and provide support for their families and their careers. The financial resources of the center consists of subsidies, gifts and donations and any charitable endowments for the welfare of the center.
